The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) impacts how organisations record, store and use personal data. This legislation is designed to give you, as ‘data subjects’, greater control and new rights over how we, as a ‘data controller’ (an organisation which holds your data which you may supply to us), record, store and use your data.
We use your information including personal data in accordance with data protection legislation. We are the data controllers of any of your personal data which we collect or you provide by:
—filling in forms on this site, whether to report a problem with the site or to contact us;
—visiting our site, accessing pages and resources; and
—responding to voluntary research surveys.
We will use this personal data to provide you:
—the most effective relevant site content;
—updates or services which we believe will be of interest to you (with your consent);
—the interactive features of the site, when you choose to use these; and
—notifications of site content changes.
We will only disclose such personal data: (a) to successors in title to our business, (b) to suppliers and external agencies with which we engage to process data on our behalf, and (c) where disclosure is required by law.
You and all data subjects have data protection rights. These include in some cases to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, subject to applicable exemptions.
If you have any queries concerning our use of personal data or this policy please contact us at info@D1models.com.
You may have provided us with personal information in the past so we could provide you with model agency services. Our use of personal data is subject to data protection legislation (including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR)). In the course of working with you, we may or may have processed, among other information, the following types of personal data:
—Names, contact details and other information about you
—Professional information such as previous jobs and experience
—Where provided, information about hobbies and interests
—Images captured by our offices’ CCTV cameras
Where necessary and legally permitted, we may also have received or collected (or may continue to receive or collect) other personal information which may include more sensitive or special data, such as diversity and health data, and details of offences and related proceedings. Of course, some of this information may be available in the public domain. The lawful bases for our processing your personal data are:
—Legitimate Interest: it is in our legitimate interest to process your personal data to enable us to provide you with model agency services and that legitimate interest is fairly balanced with your rights and freedoms.
—Contract: our processing of your personal data is necessary to allow us to perform contracts for your benefit.
—Consent: where our processing of personal data is not because of our legitimate interest or by way of performance of our contract, we may do so with your consent.
If you are a model on our roster, we will not disclose your personal data to any other person except in certain circumstances including: (a) to promote you to clients who may provide you with work; (b) to our clients’ suppliers or our suppliers in connection with jobs or potential jobs you may do; (c) internally within our company; (d) where disclosure is required by law; (e) to the extent that such information is in the public domain; or (f) otherwise, with your consent. Otherwise, we will only disclosure your information to allow us to do business with you. We will only retain your information for as long as is necessary.
If you submit an employment application to us, including CVs or resumes, all of the information submitted may be used for any and all purposes ordinarily associated with processing an employment application. Please contact us by email at info@D1models.com if you have any questions about our use of your personal data.
